Invariably we read about a CEO leaving a company, and words used in the announcement make it sound like Company growth was not fast enough or the earnings could/should have been better. Boards are magnificent at masking the true reason CEOs get fired – afraid to hurt their feelings. When we strip away the masked PR, what we find is a failure in using emotional aspects of their leadership to achieve the desired results.
